Interventions with Inter Agency

OXFAM G.B. India :

During the year 2003-04 OXFAM G.B. India supported Flood response Management Programme at Banki Dompda Block of Cuttack district by Banki Anchalika Adibasi Harijan Kalyan Parisad(BAAHKP) as the programme implementing Agency in the target area. As per the Objective of the programme following activities were conducted by community participatory approach and stake holders decisions :.
Awareness to community on Disaster Risk Response
Preparedness at the community level
Restoration of Health & Hygiene of the vulnerable community people
Water resource management and use of safe drinking water
Base rise of the structure of the community Tube well & open well with chlorines

CRS:

In order to restore the situation of the High Flood in Cuttak district CRS supported Emergency Relief Work by associating with BAAHKP, Banki. The following activities were also conducted.
raining to Community Volunteers on Disaster Risk Management
Distribution of Emergency Relief Work like Cooked food, Rice, dal, chuda & emergency consumption , cattle feed etc to the vulnerable community.

Concern WW India, Bhubaneswar :

High Flood in Orissa during the year 2006, CONCERN WW India supported One year duration programme on Disaster Management & six month pogramme on Flood Rehabilitation work in Banki Dompada Block of Cuttack district. BAAHKP as a Partner NGO in the area the following programmes were conducted for the restoration of the vulnerable community.
Micro Planning at the community level
Disaster Management to the Village Development committee members & Task force groups
Livelihood training to poor Women Self Help Groups
Support of Revolving funds to WSHGs for livelihood restoration
Community resource management & construction, repairing etc.
Support of Revolving funds to WSHGs for livelihood restoration.
Community resource management & construction, repairing etc.
Agriculture development and supported seasonal seeds for re-cultivation
Supported Tarpolin to the vulnerable houseless people.

Action Aid India :

During the year 2007 Action Aid India supported Flood Rehabilitation Work at Banki Dompada Block in Cuttack district by BAAHKP. The Following activities were conducted in the target area.
Seasonal Seeds support to the marginal & share cropper farmers
Health camps for domestic animals & free medicine distribution

UNICEF, Bhubaneswar :

In order to restore Iodize deficiency disorder in Cuttack District BAAHKP conducted Awareness meeting in the14 the Blocks of the District & Iodize salt tracking activities by the Women SHGs. As the felt need and strengthen the knowledge of the community following activities were conducted
Awareness meeting in 14 Blocks of the district in the deficiency disorder of the Iodize salt.
Use of Iodize salt in the large scale at the rural community.

Since last 15 years our organization is strongly associated with the Inter Agency of the Country in the developmental race of our region for the socio-economic building & sustainable life of the poor marginal community people.
